Australia’s drinks scene is getting an Italian-inspired makeover with the arrival of SPRIO Spritz. Made specifically to pair with food, SPRIO Spritz boasts a “naturally delicious and complex” flavour profile from 100 per cent naturally devised fruit extracts.
The Australian-made beverage is said to bring the sun-drenched flavours of the Mediterranean to life, offering a sophisticated and healthy alternative to its soft drink counterparts.
SPRIO Spritz was crafted by an international wine expert Anthony Nania and a hospitality stalwart Fabbio Navarroli (both of Italian origin).
“In 2022 Fabbio and I decided to embark on our journey to produce an excellent quality ‘all-natural’, low to zero sugar spritz-style soft drink range, with fine, elegant champagne-style bubbles, and a fresh lasting taste and flavour like no other,” says Mr Nania.
“We wanted to develop a drink for the discerning health-conscious individual – that would only contain high-quality natural ingredients, be highly enjoyable and become the drink of choice that would pair exceptionally with or without food. All this without any fanfare or plethora of broken promises of so many products.”
Partnering with beverage product design specialists Studio Guild (Melbourne), their aesthetic and brand went on to win a Silver Trophy in the prestigious World Brand Design Society Awards. The labelling is even made with a grip texture so it can be picked up from an ice bucket and won’t slip in your hands.
The range comprises SPRIO Blood Orange, SPRIO Sicilian Lemon and SPRIO Chinotto. The collection is currently available in select health food stores, fine food grocers and online.
