Streets Paddle Pop has unveiled Twister Monstaahh, a “refreshingly ‘chilling’ snack designed to tingle tastebuds with its sour and sweet zing”.
The original Twister launched in the UK in 1984, hitting Australian shelves for the very first time last summer with the arrival of Twister Mini. The new Twister Monstaahh upsizes this “sensorial delight with full-sized fun, nesting twirly layers of water ices made with real fruit juice and no artificial colours and flavours”.
“Prepare for a whirlwind of flavour with this uniquely delicious frozen treat combining fruity swirls of sour lemon, tangy apple, and sweet blueberry,” says the brand.
At “just” 65 calories, the new product is promoted as a healthy treat to balance trick or treating adventures and other snacking occasions.
“Twister Monstaahh is the perfect ice block for an after-school snack or pick me up on a summer road trip,” says Unilever Brand Manager Helen Zhang.
“Designed to be a responsible choice for kids, our Twister products are fun and tasty treats that can be enjoyed as part of a healthy and active lifestyle.”
Sold as a single serve for RRP $3.50, Twister Monstaahh will be sold exclusively at petrol stations and convenience stores around the country.
