Premium Australian dip brand Tahini Neri has expanded its Mediterranean range of products to include Labneh, with three new dips available from Coles this month.

Labneh is a spreadable, yoghurt-based cheese dip. It’s the Mediterranean alternative to cream cheese with 48% less fat and 55% more protein.

“At Tahini Neri, we’ve always believed in creating authentic Mediterranean foods that bring people together,” said Neri Lipshatz, co-founder of Tahini Neri.

“Labneh is a staple in Middle Eastern households and something we’ve grown up enjoying, yet there were very few premium, authentic options available in Australian supermarkets. We saw an opportunity to introduce Australians to a product that’s incredibly versatile, naturally high in protein, and full of flavour, while staying true to our heritage and commitment to quality,”

Tahini Neri’s new range of Labneh dips can be enjoyed as part of an entertaining spread alongside fresh vegetables, warm pita and Mediterranean dishes, as well as on a breakfast bagel, in a lunch wrap, with crackers or on a grazing board. It’s a versatile staple that can be enjoyed at any time of the day.

The range comprises:

• Original Labneh: Smooth, creamy and naturally tangy with a rich, velvety texture.
• Red Capsicum Labneh: Creamy and tangy with sweet roasted capsicum and a rich Mediterranean flavour.
• Onion and Chive Labneh: Creamy and savoury with fresh chive notes and mild onion flavour.

Tahini Neri Labneh is now available in Coles supermarkets nationwide RRP $5 for a 150g tub.
