Now in its second year, Tetley Tea’s partnership with Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) continues to raise funds and awareness for Australians affected by breast cancer through the brand’s recognisable pink tea packs.
“The Tetley Pack That Gives Back”, has become a recognisable kitchen cupboard staple since launching in August 2025, with Tetley donating 5c from every pack sold in Australia to BCNA to help fund life-changing moments of support, education and connection.
The initiative forms part of Tetley’s campaign, A Life-Changing Cuppa, which builds on the 2025 Uncomfortable Cup campaign by tapping into something Australians do every day – putting the kettle on for a cup of tea – and uses that familiar ritual as a reminder to pause, connect and check in with ourselves and the people around us.
“Putting the kettle on is often what we do when someone needs to talk, when we want to check in, or simply when we take a moment together – we know that tea has always been about more than just what’s in the cup,” said Syed Zeeshan, Vice President and Country Head of Australia and New Zealand, Tata Consumer Products.
“That very simple ritual is at the heart of A Life-Changing Cuppa. We want to ensure Australians are continuing to use those moments to have conversations that could make a difference – whether that’s learning the signs of breast cancer, checking in with someone they care about or simply being there to listen.”
Showing support
Tetley’s pink packs will continue to be sold throughout stores in Australia, with a refreshed stronger pink presence on the shelf so that more Aussies can choose to help make a difference to those living with breast cancer.
A Life Changing Cuppa campaign will run from August through to the end of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, with partnership support through paid media to drive awareness and engagement and fundraising activity through Tetley’s website.
Building on last year’s campaign stories from Australians with lived experience of breast cancer, will share their journeys and encourage others to use their daily tea break as a reminder to check in with their bodies, their health and each other through PR and communications activity.
Tetley will also participate in BCNA consumer events during the campaign period such as the Carmen’s Fun Run on 20 September 2026.
Tetley’s ongoing partnership with BCNA has contributed to helping more than 1 million people in Australia access trusted information and professional guidance while navigating diagnosis, treatment and life following breast cancer. “We are immensely grateful to Tetley Tea and the A Life-Changing Cuppa campaign for not only sparking powerful conversations but for standing with our community, as every pink pack sold helps ensure those affected can always turn to us for vital support, guidance, and connection,” said Breast Cancer Network Australia CEO Kirsten Pilatti.
