“Multi award-winning” UK-based brand, Sweet Freedom, as introduced a tempting assortment of versatile and natural syrups sweetened only with fruit (carob and apple) to the Australian market.
The flavours landing on ALDI supermarket shelves include Honeycomb Syrup, Raspberry Syrup, and Pancake Syrup. These products are “perfect” for drizzling over pancakes, oats, yoghurt, stirring into coffee and drinks, and serve as a “must-have” for home bakers too.
The syrup range from Sweet Freedom is claimed to include no refined sugar, no artificial sweeteners, and no nasties. With all-natural sweetness from fruit including apples and carob, the product is made without allergens and no palm oil. Offering a source of fibre, the syrup is vegan friendly and offers low calorie indulgence with “only 54kJ per teaspoon.”
