Woolworths is ranging a variety of ‘showbags’ from the Sydney Royal Easter Show across 210 of its supermarkets in NSW.
The retailer is a major partner of the Sydney Royal Easter Show, and despite the Show’s cancellation this year, Woolworths has partnered with Bensons Showbags to deliver a series of 12 themed-bags so that would-be show-goers can still experience the fun.
“While we know Easter will be different this year, many Australian families will still be looking for ways to celebrate,” Woolworths NSW General Manager Michael Mackenzie said.
“With familiar traditions more important than ever during this challenging time, we wanted to do something special for those that have been left disappointed by the Sydney Royal Easter Show’s cancellation.
“We are pleased our customers will still be able to purchase these showbags in our stores and hope it can continue to bring a little bit of joy to family homes over the Easter weekend.”
The showbags – priced at $30 each – are available across 210 NSW stores, with 95 stores receiving the entire Bensons Showbag range. The announcement follows the cancellation of the annual show, which is traditionally held in Sydney over the Easter period, due to COVID-19.
