Set to Leroy Anderson’s Christmas soundtrack, ‘Sleigh Ride’, Woolworths ‘Picked for Christmas’ campaign launched this week with the supermarkets’ Christmas TVC.
The integrated, multi-channel campaign celebrates The Fresh Food People’s passion for picking only the best this festive season – the perfect ham, beautiful cherries or tantalising seafood.
“As The Fresh Food People, our campaign represents the energy, care and hard work that goes on behind the scenes to make Christmas special and as easy as possible for our customers and their loved ones to celebrate together,” Woolworths Group Chief Marketing Officer Andrew Hicks said.
Mr Hicks says the supermarket plans to take it up a notch this year with their “Christmas execution in stores”.
“Customers can expect lots of in-store theatre to help bring the season to life with lots of fun activities planned for parents and their kids,” he added.
“We hope our campaign captures the imagination of Australians all across the country.”
Woolworths’ campaign will feature across multiple platforms, including TV, radio, digital, content, social and in cinema.
The website will also feature a bespoke landing page, offering Christmas tips and recipes.
Woolworths’ Fresh magazine and in-store recipe cards will also offer suggestions to ensure customers pick the best selection of ingredients and products to create special dishes to share with loved ones.
