Woolworths says it’s taking the stress out of planning by launching two distinct, curated Christmas menus designed to help hosts balance budget, quality, and time.
The new menus are built entirely around Woolworths’ Own Brand products, which the retailer says offers customers “simple, delicious and great value menus to suit a small, traditional gathering or a larger, elevated celebration”.
- Festive Feasting for Six Menu
Promoted as being able to feed up to six people for under $100, the menu “truly covers” all the essential bases of a full Christmas feast.
It features the “essential” Woolworths Half Leg Ham and a chilled Prawn Ring Platter, paired with a “versatile” grazing cheese platter and fresh vegetable accompaniments.
The meal culminates in a DIY dessert featuring the Large Pavlova Base and fresh fruit.
- Easy Entertaining for Eight Menu
Designed to “impress” a crowd of eight people for under $240, this menu is said to be all about “effortless indulgence with fresh flavours”.
“Think Gold Duck Fat Potatoes and a super simple Gold Glaze & Bake Ham,” says Woolworths. “Plus, it gets a little bit fancy with the Thomas Dux cheese selection and prosciutto for grazing.”
The feast is rounded out with a Woolworths Gingerbread Cheesecake.
“We understand that the holiday season brings the challenge of balancing both budget and time. Our specially curated menus aim to simplify Christmas shopping by offering high-quality, delicious products designed to meet our customers’ needs,” says Woolworths Supermarkets Director of Fresh Louis Eggar.
“For those mindful of their spending, we’ve got a complete menu for around $100 that is designed to feed six people. This value-focused option still features premium fresh products and our seasonal highlights, from the Half Leg Ham to fresh strawberries. “And for those who choose to spend a little more on their Christmas meal, there’s an extended entertaining menu with a few fancier suggestions.”
