Woolworths is giving Sydneysiders a taste of its “new and improved” burger range with a free pop-up burger joint.
Burger lovers can snag one of a thousand free burgers each day (17-18 October) at the Woolworths Home Burger Pop-Up at 118 Crown Street, Darlinghurst.
The pop-up aims to inspire Australians to recreate restaurant-style burgers in their own kitchens. It comes as the new Burger Consumption Report found 44% of surveyed Australians like to have burgers at home, but don’t think they can make restaurant style burgers.
“Burgers continue to be an Aussie foodie favourite, and restaurants are always finding ways to make them even better. We were inspired by that energy and created a new supermarket burger range for families that’s not just convenient, but delicious,” says Woolworths Food Company Managing Director Louis Eggar.
“We’re confident that our new range delivers the texture and taste you’d expect from a burger chain, and we’re pleased to be giving customers a chance to trial the quality of the new range with the Woolworths Home Burger Pop-Up.”
Woolworths says its new burger range goes beyond the standard patty, offering a variety of options for different occasions.
“There’s the classic Woolworths Beef Burger four pack from $8 for the casual dining experience; the Stacker six pack ($8) for those who like double or triple deckers; the Smash Burger six pack ($8) for fakeaway fans; the Slider Beef Burger eight pack ($8) for entertaining; and the Wagyu Beef Burger two pack ($10) for the burger connoisseurs,” says the retailer.
Woolworths will be serving burgers at its pop-up from 12pm each day (until product runs out).
