Zip gives back 3% to its users

Zip is giving back to Zip Pay users with 3% back on all transactions, when they ‘Tap & Zip’ their mobile to pay.

Buy Now, Pay Later providers have traditionally been limited to whatever retail stores have signed up to accept them.

Tap & Zip enables users to pay with Zip anywhere they can make a contactless payment on their mobile. Customers can use their Zip Pay account for everyday spending on items like groceries, petrol and public transport.

“Consumers are increasingly turning away from traditional models of credit because they aren’t fit for purpose,” says Chief Customer Officer at Zip, Steve Brennen.

“Throughout the pandemic, more than 800,000 credit cards have already been cancelled by Australians looking for better ways to pay.

“By Zipping their everyday purchases, consumers are choosing a fairer, more transparent and flexible way to pay for goods and services. Always interest free, they now have the added bonus of 3% back on every purchase made by tapping their phone.

“Christmas is a time for giving, and our customers want to be able to make the most of the season without getting stung with interest they’ll be paying back for years to come. This new 3% bonus offers let us give something back to customers, no matter how they’re planning to spend the holidays this year.”

Using Tap & Zip will earn Zip Pay customers a 3% bonus back, up to a maximum of $30 per transaction.
