Amazon Australia has announced over 1000 new seasonal job opportunities to support fulfilment of customer orders over the festive period.
The company is looking to onboard the seasonal workers at its fulfilment centres and logistics sites around the country between now and November. For those who prefer a more flexible work arrangement, there are also earning opportunities around the country, delivering packages with Amazon Flex.
The job opportunities will help meet the customer demand as Australians prep for the festive season, throughout key shopping periods such as the recently announced Prime member deal event, Prime Big Deal Days in October, and Black Friday.
“Our holiday season period is an exciting time to be part of the team. We’re pleased to offer over 1000 new seasonal work opportunities for Australians around the country,” says Amazon Australia Director of HR Jacqui Marker.
“Our seasonal roles are great for those who want something shorter term like students on their summer break, retirees looking to stay active, or someone who may have had time off and is wanting to get back into the workforce to earn some extra money. Seasonal roles may present opportunities to apply for permanent employment when available and start a long-term career at Amazon.
Applications are now open in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Newcastle and the Gold Coast.
