Everyday Rewards Australian members can now earn points across the Tasman when shopping at Woolworths in New Zealand.
As a result of this change, the 1.2 million Australians who are expected to travel to NZ this year will be able to collect one point for every NZ$ spent at Woolworths NZ and also take advantage of Member Pricing.
“We’re pleased to offer our members the ability to collect Everyday Rewards points in Australia and New Zealand,” says Everyday Rewards ANZ Managing Director Hannah Ross.
“With NZ being one of the top destinations for Australians to visit for a holiday or to see family, this significant change to our program will provide our members with more opportunities to collect points, leading to a lot more savings every day at the checkout.”
Everyday Rewards points can be collected in Australia at Woolworths, Metro, BWS, BIG W, Bupa, HealthyLife, MyDeal, MILKRUN, Everyday Market, Origin Energy and at “Australia’s largest loyalty fuel partner network” with over 1000 EG and Ampol petrol sites.
Once an Everyday Rewards member has collected 2000 points, they can choose to save $10 off their next shop or convert their Everyday Rewards points to 1000 Qantas points. Members can also choose to bank their points to spend over the Christmas period.
Everyday Rewards launched in NZ in February replacing the previous program, OneCard. Since the change, 1.7 million Everyday Rewards members in NZ have enjoyed savings on their grocery or fuel purchases and over one million vouchers have already been redeemed.
To earn points in NZ, Everyday Rewards Australian members need to simply scan their existing rewards card or app at any Woolworths NZ store to earn points to redeem off a future shop when back in Australia.
