Kraft Heinz has launched a range of ‘premium finishing sauces innovated and made locally, set to modernise the gravy category in Australia’.
The brand Bare Bones includes gravies, sauces and jus with a focus on simple ingredients to ‘inspire Australians to get creative in the kitchen’.
Additionally, the range incorporates truffle, black garlic and wine.
“We believe the most delicious flavours come from simple ingredients,” Kraft Heinz Chief Marketing Officer Shane Kent says.
“Each sauce has been carefully crafted to be the perfect accompaniment to modern meals, redefining the gravy and sauces category.”
Mr Kent continues: “We understand that Australian shoppers are wanting new options when it comes to finishing sauces and we are proud to be driving local innovations to meet these demands.
“Bare Bones thoughtfully brings together the qualities that only premium ingredients can offer – simple and genuinely delicious choices that elevates any meal.”
The Bare Bones range includes:
Classic Gravy with Black Garlic – ‘Beef-based gravy blended with onion and mixed herbs, then elevated with cured black garlic for a hint of sweetness.’
Red Wine Jus with Rosemary & Thyme – ‘Full bodied beef-based reduction sauce with a velvety smooth texture and hint of earthiness from an Australian Merlot.’
Free-Range Chicken Gravy with White Wine – ‘Classic chicken gravy with a rich unami flavour, perfectly balanced by a bright Australian Sauvignon Blanc and herb.
Mushroom Sauce with Truffle – ‘Creamy, textured mushroom sauce with a beef base, enriched with indulgent black truffle and clarified butter.’
The Bare Bones range are available now nationwide in Australia at Woolworths and Independent Grocers with an RRP of $7.00 per pouch.
In New Zealand the range will be available nationwide at New World and Pak N Save. Each 200g pouch servers four dinners.
