Coles launches three new healthy bread options including 85% low carb loaves, high protein and gluten free varieties nationally.
Coles’ first-ever 85% Lower Carb Loaf is a compact, seeded bread loaf that contains “85 per cent fewer carbs than a traditional multigrain sandwich loaf,” for consumers who are wanting to reduce their carbohydrate intake.
Nutritionally-packed and soft, the Coles 85% Lower Carb Loaf contains on average 21 grams of protein and 8.5 grams of fibre per serve, and is also claimed to be low in sugar and vegan-friendly.
The new Herman Brot Complete Protein Loaf offers customers a wholesome and vegan-friendly source of protein that aids digestive function and gut health. Enriched with a blend of plant-based enzymes and sprouted seeds, the Herman Brot Complete Protein Loaf has over 33g of protein and 4mg of iron per 100g, making it a filling and nutrient-rich bread option. Similar to the Coles 85% Lower Carb Loaf, it is also low in sugar and carbs.
In response to the growing demand for high-quality gluten free products, the Gluten Free Premium White Loaf not only appeals to people with coeliac disease but also those looking to follow a low gluten eating plan, according to Coles.
