Coles says it’s making it easier for customers to save at the checkout when using their Flybuys.
Following a successful trial, Flybuys members with at least 2000 points in their account, who scan their Flybuys, will now be able to instantly redeem $10 off when they shop in-store and spend a minimum $10 in one transaction.
Members can redeem 2000 points for the instant $10 off in-store at Coles and at selected Liquorland and First Choice Liquor Market stores with a maximum of one redemption per store per day.
Customers also have the option to turn the prompt for the offer off via their Flybuys account settings, giving them more choice about how they want to use their points.
Coles Chief Customer Officer Amanda McVay says Flybuys instant $10 off is another way the retailer is providing value at the checkout to help customers’ budgets go further.
“We know making the most out of their weekly shop through Flybuys is important to our customers, so we are excited to now offer an instant $10 off for in-store purchases to all Flybuys members across the country, to give them a simpler way to redeem points at the checkout,” she says.
“Millions of Flybuys members currently hold balances of more than 2000 points and we’re making it easier than ever for them to redeem these points for money off their in-store shop.”
To celebrate the launch of the instant $10 off an in-store shop and help customers get to 2000 points faster, Coles is offering a number of bonus points offers, with no activation required.
Until 11 June, customers can earn 10 x points on all mince from the meat department and until 25 June, they can earn 10 x points on a range of grocery items changing each week.
Coles is also offering 5 x points on over 260 immunity and cold and flu products from brands including Panadol, Nurofen, Betadine, Vicks, Difflam, Swisse and Cenovis until 23 July.
