Golden Gaytime has teamed up with Cinnabon to launch a new ice cream variant.
The new product combines Golden Gaytime’s signature biscuit crumb with Cinnabon’s “iconic” cinnamon and cream cheese flavour.
Streets Ice Cream Australia and New Zealand Marketing Director Kalli Swaik says the collaboration was created to celebrate two iconic brands in a way only Golden Gaytime could.
“We wanted to create something that fans wouldn’t just see, but talk about, hunt down and share with their mates,” she says.
Playfully referred to as ‘Junior’, the result of the collaboration was “born” at the Streets Ice Cream ‘Maternity Ward’ in Minto, NSW, at 8.08am on Thursday, 6 August 2026, weighing 100ml and measuring 14cm of “pure main-character energy”.
“Golden Gaytime has always had a knack for not taking itself too seriously, so bringing this love story to life felt like the perfect way to introduce a collaboration that’s as playful as it’s delicious. We can’t wait to see Australians fall in love with Junior from the very first bite,” says Ms Swaik.
Dave Mikita, President of International and Licensing at GoTo Foods, says this collaboration captures everything fans love about Cinnabon and one of Australia’s most iconic ice creams.
“It’s a great example of how thoughtful licensing can extend a brand in new ways that feel authentic, memorable and genuinely exciting for consumers,” he says.
Golden Gaytime x Cinnabon is now available in a single serve in participating petrol and convenience stores, with a four-pack launch to follow in supermarkets from 24 August.
