Green’s enters the bakery aisle with ‘ready to eat’ first

Making its move into the bakery aisle of Woolworths supermarkets nationally, Green’s is elevating the tradition of Australia’s most iconic cake and giving it a decadently modern take with the launch of two “mouth-watering” lamington flavours – Strawberries & Cream and Triple Choc.

“We are thrilled to be taking the Green’s brand – renowned for our delicious and easy to make baking and pancake mixes – into the exciting ready-to-eat bakery space in Woolworths with our very own elevated take on the iconic Aussie favourite – the lamington. An absolute indulgence for any time of the day our Strawberries & Cream and Triple Choc lamingtons are sure to be loved by the entire family,” says Green’s Head of Marketing & Innovation Karen Marshall.

Baked with Green’s vanilla sponge, Green’s Strawberries & Cream Lamingtons are filled with jam and a creamy layer and dipped in a strawberry and coconut coating.

Green’s serves up the ultimate Triple Choc twist on tradition – Green’s Triple Choc Lamingtons bring “luxuriously rich” chocolate sponge together with a creamy chocolate filling, covered in a “delightful” chocolate dip and coated in coconut.

“Suitable for vegetarians, Green’s Lamingtons are a true-blue ready-to-eat treat for morning, noon and night and are the first Green’s products to launch in this new bakery category for the Australian owned company much-loved for its cake and pancake mixes.”

Green’s Strawberries & Cream and Triple Choc Lamingtons (RRP $5) are available as a 4 pack in the bakery aisle of Woolworths stores nationally.
