Suntory Oceania has launched Maximus Zero Sugar Grape, a “full flavoured” zero sugar hydration beverage.
This is the second Maximus zero sugar offering and will join the full Maximus line-up which includes, Zero Sugar Blue, Blue, Red, Grape, Passionfruit, Pine Lime, Lemonade and Lime.
“Maximus Zero Sugar Grape is a product that has been years in the making, capitalising on technological advancements to deliver a delicious, zero sugar option that doesn’t compromise on taste,” says Suntory Beverage & Food Oceania Head of Hydration and Nutrition Lisa Pearce.
“We’ve paid close attention to consumer feedback and the growing demand for low and no sugar beverages, while identifying grape as one of the fastest-growing flavours in the sports drink market. We’re thrilled to introduce Australian consumers to Maximus Zero Sugar Grape, a product designed to exceed expectations.”
According to Suntory Oceania, Maximus Zero Sugar Grape aligns with the “rapidly expanding” better-for-you sports drink diet category, which has seen “significant” dollar share growth – from 9.5% to 18.1% of the sports drink market in just three years (Circana Australia Grocery Convenience Dollars share of total sports drinks MAT to 4/8/24).
Maximus Zero Sugar Grape is available nationwide in a 1lt pack size across independent grocery and petrol and convenience stores.
