Mingle Seasoning has entered its sixth supermarket category with the launch of a range of better-for-you salad dressings.
The rollout into Coles and Woolworths throughout April and May followed a soft-launch on Mingle’s online store last year, which saw the dressings sell out in just one week.
While most supermarket dressings are packed with hidden sugars, preservatives and highly processed oils, claims Mingle, the brand’s new dressings deliver “bold flavour without the nasties”.
Mingle says it’s the first Australian supermarket dressing brand to exclusively use avocado oil.
“Unlike commonly used oils, avocado oil is minimally processed, naturally rich in good fats and has a range of health benefits,” says the brand.
The plant-based range contains no preservatives or artificial colours, and less than 2g of sugar per serve.
The range includes three flavours:
- Everything Dressing. A “tangy, versatile” vinaigrette that “works with all salad styles”.
- Balsamic Dressing. A Mediterranean-inspired “classic” that “pairs perfectly” with feta, tomatoes, olives or burrata.
- Japanese-Style Dressing. A “sweet” umami blend with “notes” of yuzu and toasted sesame oil.
Mingle Seasoning founder Jordyn Evans says expanding into dressings felt like a natural next step for her brand as it grows beyond the spice aisle.
“For the last 10 years, we’ve focused on challenging the status quo and creating products with cleaner ingredients and big flavours, and we’re excited to bring that same approach to an entirely new category,” she says.
Mingle’s dressings are available in 220g packs with a RRP of $6.95.
