New date confirmed for SA Food & Beverage Industry Awards

Food South Australia confirm that the famed South Australian Premier’s Food and Beverage Industry Awards Gala Dinner is going ahead on Friday 13 November, and tickets are on sale now.

As with events everywhere this year, it’s been a tense wait for the Food SA team to confirm the event could go ahead. However, all arrangements are now in place, and although Covid-19 will mean some changes to the traditional format, the evening promises to be an extra special opportunity to gather and celebrate – not only the achievements behind this year’s award entries, but also tales of survival of 2020 – as befits the theme for this year’s awards of ‘Sharing Stories’.

Long regarded as the industry’s ‘night of nights’ for the food and beverage sector in South Australia, the Gala Dinner is the culmination of the 2020 awards and is the largest event of its kind on the industry calendar each year, always including a menu showcasing South Australia’s finest produce and entertainment.

Despite Covid-19 and everything that has come with it, the 2020 Awards have seen a 15% increase in entries and a bumper vote for the Consumer Award.

Winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner.

Table bookings of 10 are available and full Covid-safe conditions are in place for the event.
