M&M’s has unveiled a “chocolate-covered homage” to the Bounty chocolate bar.
According to the brand, the new M&M’s Coconut sees the signature colourful candy shell of M&M’s filled with “delectable” coconut flavoured chocolate, reinventing the “classic” bite-sized treat by drawing inspiration from the “uber popular and tasty” Bounty bar.
“Coconut has been a popular choice with consumers for many years now, and we’re incredibly proud to have been able to create and manufacture this product right here in Australia, out of our Ballarat innovation hub,” says Mars Wrigley Marketing Director Ben Hill.
“This is the first new product launch for M&M’s this year and I have a feeling it is going to be a popular one, with both M&M’s and Bounty fans absolutely loving it!”
M&M’s Coconut sits alongside the full M&M’s range, including Peanut, Crispy, Brownie, and classic milk chocolate.
The limited-edition M&M’s Coconut is now in leading supermarkets and independent retailers for a RRP of $5.
