Say cheese! To virtual tastings

Gourmet cheese hamper business, Cheese Therapy is seeing a huge boom in virtual cheese tastings.

The Sunshine Coast-based business is holding up to three virtual experiences a day, as online gatherings proceed to be more popular.

“They say it’s fabulous for those involved as they get to taste great Australian cheeses they’ve never tasted before, regardless of where they are,” says Co-Founder, Sam Penny.

“Virtual cheese tastings help bring teams together when they’ve been feeling a little isolated. They also make people feel they’re part of something again because in a virtual room they’re all sharing the same experience of tasting great cheese together.

“Our most popular tasting was just last week and featured 60 people linked together from all over Australia.”

Cheese Therapy has seen a growth of up to 3600% in 2020.

“What we’ve really been able to do this year is focus on those great small Australian cheesemakers, support them, and showcase their cheeses throughout Australia with deliveries from our Geelong warehouse to all corners of the nation.

“The Australian spirit is all about helping and Aussies have gone out of their way to help small Australian cheesemakers in their time of need.”
