Dough way! Smith’s and Pizza Hut launch new flavours

Smith’s has partnered with Pizza Hut to launch three new limited-edition flavours: BBQ Meatlovers, Margherita and Garlic Bread.

In a first for Smith’s, its crinkle cut chip has been combined with classic Pizza Hut-inspired flavours. The company believes the new product will delight chip and pizza lovers across the country.

“We’re really excited about our innovative partnership with Pizza Hut,” Smith’s Marketing Manager Lynn Rutherford said. “It made perfect sense for us to combine Smith’s chips with these classic Pizza Hut flavours – we think it’s a match made in heaven and we know Aussies will love them as much as we do.”

PepsiCo Sales Manager Elina Chen added: “Salty snacks represent 60 per cent of social sharing occasions, and are the fastest growing in the impulse category.

“On average, 2.6 different types of snack are consumed by spectators during a sports game and pizza has a strong affinity with watching sport.”

All three flavours come in 80g and 150g size packs. BBQ Meatlovers are available across all major supermarkets – Margherita in Woolworths and Garlic Bread in Coles and IGA – as well as petrol and convenience stores.
