Aussies schools and early-learning centres will receive more than 300,000 education resources from this week, with Woolworths store managers across the country delivering equipment as part of the Woolworths Earn & Learn program.
Earn & Learn is aimed at helping schools and early-learning centres obtain such resources as sporting, mathematics, arts, science and technology equipment.
Woolworths Director of Marketing Andrew Hicks says the retailer knows how important and needed the delivery of Earn & Learn educational resources is to schools and early-learning centres.
“Thank you to everyone in the community for your efforts in collecting stickers as part of the program,” he said. “As a result of your contribution, the Woolworths Earn & Learn program has delivered over $50 million in school equipment since it started in 2011 to support the next generation of Aussies.”
Nationally, Woolworths will be delivering 300,000 pieces of educational equipment to more than 15,000 schools and early-learning centres throughout the country, assisting more than three million pupils.
Information and communications technology was the leading resources category redeemed across most states and territories, but in NSW and the ACT, mathematics equipment was the most selected resource.
