Yoplait has launched a new yoghurt range, Yoplait Protein, for those looking for an everyday protein “punch”.
Citing recent research (Yoghurt Usage & Attitude Study, October 2022), Yoplait says 35% of respondents are currently looking for protein in the yoghurt that they buy.
“Getting enough protein helps keep everything working at its best,” says the brand. “It’s an important contributor to bone health and as a bonus, it keeps you fuller for longer – so you can keep on keeping on.”
Yoplait says its yoghurt has long been known for its “delicious, creamy” taste. This will remain true with the new range, but with 10g protein and 25% less sugar than regular Yoplait yoghurt from the core range.
“We are thrilled to be giving Aussies the opportunity to enjoy the same great Yoplait taste, with an added bonus of more protein,” says Bega Dairy and Drinks Marketing Director Sharon Winton.
“Across the past few years, we have seen a strong demand from customers looking to enjoy their yoghurt all while getting that extra protein edge as they go about their day to day.”
The new Yoplait Protein range comes in both a 950g value tub and a 162g two-pack and is available in the flavours of vanilla, strawberry and mango. It can now be purchased from Woolworths.
