A convenient focus for Coles’ ‘What’s for Dinner’ campaign

Coles is relaunching its ‘What’s for Dinner’ campaign, with a focus on fresh, easy and low-cost recipes starting from $4 per serve.

It uses ingredients that are easily available in-store and online for delivery or Click & Collect, including within 90 minutes through the Click & Collect Rapid service.¹

‘What’s for Dinner’ is aimed at helping customers get quick and easy food on the table in 30 minutes or less, using no more than five ingredients.

The meals contain a selection of fresh ingredients including Coles Lamb Mince, Coles Pork Loin Steak and Responsibility Sourced Coles Fresh Tasmanian Salmon and lots of Aussie, fresh vegetables.

Additionally, Coles has taken the guesswork out of which wines to pair with dinner.

With the help of this week’s catalogue, customers can add a Tasmanian chardonnay from Liquorland, to consume with their Spinach and Pea Risotto or a shiraz to enhance the flavours of Lamb and Black Bean Burgers.

Coles Chief Marketing Officer Lisa Ronson says, “We are more committed than ever to make life easier for our customers and give them solutions to help feed their families every day. We have more than 100 ‘What’s for Dinner’ recipes easily available for our customers to view online through the Coles&Co portal at

“The 20 brand new recipes are set out in this month’s Coles magazine providing 5-day meal planners for four weeks. It’s recipe inspiration for our customers with the cost per serve ranging from $4 to $8 per person to feed a family of four.²

“As more of our customers shop online, we are also making it easier to purchase the ingredients needed to create What’s for Dinner meals buy helping customers to shop straight to their online shopping baskets. If they need to pick up dinner on the school run they can place an order for Click&Collect Rapid by 3:25pm to conveniently collect their order from the store in less than 90 minutes.”³

Customers can plan their week’s dinners they can find all What’s for Dinner recipes at in the Coles magazine and weekly catalogues.
