Mutti has released the complete series of Confessions of a Muttiholic: Saucy Stories, with Paralympic champion and disability advocate Dylan Alcott and vet and television personality Dr Chris Brown stepping up to the microphone.
Confessions of a Muttiholic: Saucy Stories is promoted as a “first-of-its-kind” audio series transforming Mutti fan confessions into auto-fiction saucy short stories, written by award-winning author Emma Mugglestone and narrated by some of Australia’s most famous voices.
The series kicked off with a story narrated by Australian football player Sam Kerr, which received more than 19.2 million views and streams across Spotify, YouTube and socials.
In the newly released stories, Mr Alcott brings his “trademark warmth and humour” to the story of someone convinced their engagement ring was hidden inside a jar of Mutti Passata, while Dr Chris narrates a “flirtatious” confession involving a Mutti tin-can telephone and a mysterious neighbour’s linguine all’Arrabbiata recipe.
“The response to Sam’s story showed us that Australians don’t just cook with Mutti – they build memories, traditions and, in some cases, wonderfully unexpected stories around it,” says Mutti ANZ Marketing Director Samantha Filocamo.
“We received hundreds of confessions from people who stockpile Polpa, refuse to cook with anything else and make Mutti part of their most meaningful moments. Dylan and Chris each bring their own warmth and humour to these real fan stories, and together they show just how far the Mutti love reaches.
“With the complete series now available, we’re inviting Australians to sit back, press play and discover what happens when a love of exceptional tomatoes becomes a story worth telling. At the end of the day, it’s all in good fun – our way of giving our loyal fans something entertaining to enjoy.”
