New app feature unlocks more rewards with Flybuys

Unlockd, an app that lets users view targeted ads in exchange for points, has launched a new feature to offer greater rewards.

The ‘Earn Wall’ feature within Unlockd allows members to collect bonus points each month by completing short tasks, like answering surveys or watching video, delivering up to four times more rewards than the previous version of the app.

Flybuys launched its Unlock Rewards Android app in August 2017. Members have been able to collect additional points by opting to view relevant ads or offers when they unlock their phone. Since the release, Flybuys has seen increased customer engagement and retention with the app, which is powered by Unlockd’s technology.

Coles General Manager for Loyalty, Insights and Flybuys Alex Chruszcz said: “Flybuys is always looking to find new and meaningful ways for our members to collect points they can redeem for a variety of rewards, including money off their shop or travel. We’re pleased to be able to offer members even more ways to collect Flybuys points by simply viewing advertisements, videos or quick surveys.”

Unlockd recently launched ‘Earn Wall’ in the US through Boost Mobile’s Boost Dealz app. Since adding Earn Wall, the telecom company has seen average revenue per user increase by 55 per cent. Some users on the platform are earning up to $50USD in value each month, making Boost Dealz one of highest-reward value apps in market.

Unlockd Chief Operating Officer Jane Martino said: “As launch partner for our Unlockd Loyalty product solution, Flybuys is at the forefront of customer innovation, demonstrating the different ways mobile technology can be applied to engage members beyond purchases.

“Based on the initial success we’ve seen with ‘Earn Wall’, we’re confident that our other partners around the world will been keen to add this feature in the coming months. At the same time, we’ll continue to evolve our product to help our partners build their customer base, earn additional revenue, while also rewarding their customers for their attention.”
